Network & Editorial Disclosure

HerniaGuide.com is an independent patient-education resource. This page explains publishing relationships, editorial standards, and how any related clinical resources are selected.

Publishing relationships

HerniaGuide.com shares a publishing network with a small number of other topic-specific patient-education properties. Consultation requests submitted through this site may be routed to Hospital CYNTAR's surgical program. These relationships do not influence the clinical content on this site.

Editorial and medical-review standards

Every clinical page is written for patient education, reviewed by a board-certified surgeon, and referenced against published guidelines. See our editorial policy and medical review policy for the review workflow, source selection, and update cadence.

How related resources are selected

Cross-domain links are added manually, only when another resource provides substantially deeper information about the exact hospital, bariatric, reflux, abdominal-wall, or physician topic being discussed. Most articles use internal links only. When a related-resource module appears, it is limited to a small number of manually selected cards.

Some related educational resources share a publishing network. Links are selected according to topic relevance.

What cross-links do — and do not — represent

  • Cross-links are educational. They are not treatment recommendations.
  • Surgical outcomes, recurrence rates, and individual results depend on many factors and cannot be guaranteed.
  • A link to a hospital, program, or surgeon profile is not a statement that this is the only acceptable option for any reader.

Corrections

If you believe any information on this site is inaccurate or out of date, please contact us through the contact page. Correction requests are reviewed by our editorial team and, where clinical, by our medical reviewer.
